Important Information to Consider Before Booking

        • Health Restrictions & Physical Requirements
The camel ride is suitable for most people in good health. However, it may not be appropriate for individuals with severe back, neck, or mobility issues.
Guests should be able to mount and dismount the camel with ease (camels are gently guided, but some physical agility is required).
Pregnant women are advised to consult with their doctor before booking, as the camel ride may not be suitable for all stages of pregnancy.
This experience is not recommended for individuals with severe fear of animals or those who have trouble with motion.
        • Accessibility
This experience is not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of the terrain and the camel ride.
Infant seats are available for the transfer vehicle on request on advance.
The camel ride is generally suitable for guests ages 6 and up, although younger children can join at the discretion of the tour operator (please contact us in advance for special arrangements).
        • Weather Considerations
The Agafay Desert can experience extreme temperatures. We recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable—light, breathable clothing in the heat, and warmer clothing for the evening when temperatures can drop significantly.
The experience runs year-round, but may be subject to weather conditions. In case of extreme weather, we will reschedule or offer a full refund.
        Qué llevar

To make the most of your Agafay Desert adventure, here are a few things we recommend bringing along:

          • Comfortable, closed-toed shoes – For walking around the desert and getting on and off the camel comfortably.
          • Warm clothing – The desert can get cool in the evening, so it's a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater for after the sunset.
          • Sun protectionSunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat will protect you from the sun during the ride.
          • Camera or smartphone – Capture the stunning desert views, sunset, and unique moments throughout the experience.
          • Cash – For optional purchases like souvenirs, additional drinks, tips for guides and musicians, or any extra activities.
          • A light scarf or shawl – The desert winds can sometimes pick up, and a scarf can help protect your face and neck.
          • Personal medications – If you need any special medications, be sure to bring them with you, as the camp is in a remote area.
