What to Bring for Your Desert Adventure

To make the most of your experience, here are some recommended items to pack for your 3-day journey from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert:

          🧥 Clothing

          • Comfortable walking shoes or sandals for exploring kasbahs and walking in the sand.
          • Warm layers(especially for autumn, winter, and early spring): desert nights can get very cold, even if the days are hot.
          • Lightweight, breathable clothing for daytime comfort — long sleeves and pants help protect from the sun and dust.
          • Scarf or shawl(ideal for protecting your face from desert wind or sand).
          • Sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat or cap for sun protection.
          • Sleepwear suitable for cooler nights (especially in the desert camp).

          🧴 Personal Items

          • Sunscreen with high SPF — the sun can be strong even in cooler months.
          • Moisturizer and lip balm — desert air can be very dry.
          • Personal medication and any basic first-aid items you may need.

          📸 Essentials for the Experience

          • Camera or smartphone with plenty of memory and battery for amazing desert shots.
          • Small backpack or day bag for daily essentials during stops and the camel trek.
